SMRT Solution Consulting Inc. was created to provide governments, organizations, and leadership teams with practical, collaborative, and experienced advisory support rooted in operational realities, strategic thinking, and trusted relationships. We understand that leadership can be isolating, particularly during periods of crisis, organizational change, operational pressure, stakeholder complexity, and public scrutiny. Basia Radomski
Basia Radomski is a Principal Consultant and co-founder of SMRT Solution Consulting Inc., bringing more than 25 years of senior leadership experience helping organizations navigate growth, organizational change, operational pressure, crises, and complex decision-making environments. She approaches her work with clarity and focus, helping leadership teams cut through noise, identify what matters most, and move organizations from vision to execution. A strategic thinker and natural storyteller, Basia is known for her ability to connect people, strategy, communications, and operations to build trust, alignment, and measurable results.
Her experience spans strategic planning, organizational transformation, operational leadership, stakeholder engagement, governance, business planning, crisis management, executive advisory support, and communications strategy across municipal, corporate, legal, media, public, and private-sector environments. She works closely with executive leadership teams, boards, and senior decision-makers to strengthen organizational alignment, improve operational effectiveness, build culture, and operationalize strategy through data-driven implementation frameworks.
Basia brings a practical approach to leadership and organizational strategy, grounded in the belief that vision succeeds only when people understand it, believe in it, and can execute it effectively. She is deeply people-focused and views communications as the critical link between leadership, strategy, culture, stakeholder trust, and operational execution.
She built her career on the foundation of journalism, learning how to ask the right and often difficult questions, build trust and human rapport, navigate high-pressure environments, and work alongside people to provide practical advisory and strategic support.
Her career spans national media, municipal government, corporate advisory, and executive leadership environments, giving her a unique perspective on how organizations operate under pressure, communicate through complexity, build trust, align people and strategy, and lead through change. This breadth of experience allows her to bring practical insight, strategic clarity, and operational awareness to organizations navigating growth, disruption, stakeholder complexity, and high-impact decision-making environments.
Bill McKee
Bill McKee is a Principal Consultant and co-founder of SMRT Solution Consulting Inc., bringing more than 25 years of senior leadership experience helping complex organizations navigate operational pressures, organizational change, governance challenges, strategic planning, and high-stakes decision-making. Known for his ability to see through the fog of complexity, Bill brings a calm, highly structured, and practical approach to consulting, helping leadership teams identify pain points, focus on priorities, and translate strategy into actionable execution.
Bill is a trusted leader, strategist, and facilitator who works closely with executive teams, boards, municipalities, and public- and private-facing organizations to operationalize strategy, strengthen accountability, build organizational capacity, and improve coordination across leadership and operational teams. He understands that organizations succeed when executive priorities, operational realities, and people are aligned through clear structure, role clarity, and practical implementation frameworks.
Bill leverages his experience in emergency management, command structures, labour leadership, legal advocacy, and organizational operations to help organizations build strong decision-making and accountability frameworks where people at every level understand their responsibilities and how they contribute to broader organizational goals. Practical and goal-oriented, he is recognized for his ability to facilitate difficult conversations, diffuse escalating situations, navigate competing priorities, and help organizations move forward with clarity and confidence.
His work includes organizational strategy, governance advisory support, operational reviews, business continuity planning, labour relations advisory services, emergency preparedness planning, crisis response coordination, facilitation, and the design and delivery of tabletop exercises, simulations, and leadership training programs.
Before co-founding SMRT Solution Consulting Inc., Bill served with Toronto Fire Services, held executive leadership roles with the Toronto Professional Fire Fighters’ Association, operated a successful paralegal practice specializing in workplace and human rights matters, and led emergency management and resilience projects at Calian.
